Nice coffee mint chocolate ice-cream a must but enjoyed the toffee butterscotch today mmmmm. Staff really pleasant as well... Also dairy free ice cream unlike minchellas .... to many flavours to put on this post but won't be disappointed.
This was a lovely addition to our day out on the beach. We were greeted with lovely smiles and a nice bubbly atmosphere. The prices reflected well into the flavouring and sizes. I tried out the salted caramel and coffee combo and it was a perfect match. They do all types of flavours in either ice creams or sorbets (dairy free) in either cones or tubs. Would highly recommend!
Scoop and Bean is a modern coffee shop and ice cream parlor, serving 36 unique flavours. On a winter day, it is a warm retreat, welcoming to the cold pedestrian. We were served quickly at the counter and paid a reasonable price. The ice cream itself is well worth braving the wind for. Recommended for any ice cream enthusiast or family. Not wheelchair accessible - sliding doors in a step.

Incredibly delicious ice cream with so many different flavours to choose from. Staff are lovely too. Excellent coffee (I love anything by Tynemouth Coffee!) which is perfect to accompany any ice cream. Our dog loves a vanilla ice cream too so it's great for all the family!
Always good. :) kids love it. Maybe need a few more chairs .. maybe but good icecream good tea
We come here often with the kids whenever we're down the beach as my little boy is obsessed with their mango sorbet. The ice creams and coffees are reasonably priced with good sized scoops too! The staff are always friendly and accomodating when it comes to the kids (prams etc).

Small unassuming place that looks like an elongated conservatory just off the beach road. Stopped in for coffee before heading back home c.5 hour journey.
I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were, certainly less than I’d expected. Service was excellent, a warm and genuine greeting from the lady working (didn’t catch a name). Sugar spooned into coffee behind the counter as it was made rather than relying on sachets at a separate station post-service which was another unexpected moment.
Coffee itself was full flavoured and punchy - always a winner with me!
Complimentary Biscoff for humans and doggy treats for the canines provided too.
Conveniently located on the edge of the funfair and amusements, and opposite the park with the steam train and pond. Within easy reach of the beaches, landmarks including Herd Groyne, and car parks.
I’d happily call in again when up that way.- Service

Great ice cream shop. Queues can be long on sunny days but still worth the waits.
Popped tonight after a sunny day at work and the lady was by herself and had been all day, but props to her she was fab and still with a smile on her face!
Tasty ice cream. Lovely girls serving took the time to show us the ingredients to check for safe options (allergies) and were able to find 4 vegan options. 3 sorbets and one ice cream. Lovely to be so inclusive and the girls were really great with us.
Friendly staff and good service. Loads of ice cream flavours and a variety of cakes and snacks to choose from. Inside seating for about 40 and some outside seating as well. Constructed like a conservatory with tent like roof with wheelchair access. Most importantly they are open in the winter and are dog friendly.
We always come here for ice cream when we're in South shields. Friendly staff who are able to suggest some good favour combinations. My son loves the Cookie Monster flavour, vanilla with chocolate chips but bright blue.
Great Coffee, the best ice cream and lovely staff.

Young girl that served me a little bit abrupt & I felt anxious .... Dogs enjoyed their tub of ice cream
Yummy, tasty ice cream. Loads of choice. Young girls completing all the service. They could perhaps smile more but hopefully with more experience this will improve.
